Lady Da Flame and Richie Stephens have released the vibrant “Ropeen”, a blazing reggae offering from the powerhouse artists.

“Blending two generations of impactful voices, the track delivers a rich dose of authentic rubadub flavor that is bound to resonate with fans across eras,” Caribbean entertainment publicist Flair Lindsey of Acclaim PR told Caribbean Life on Monday.

Produced and written by Richie Stephens for his Pot A Gold Productions (on RP Records), “Ropeen captures a timeless chemistry which defines great reggae duets, Lindsey said.

“With its infectious melody, polished production, and heartfelt delivery, the single boasts all the bells and whistles of a hit — positioning itself as a standout favorite in today’s reggae music space,” she added.

Lady Da Flame shared: “Ritchie wrote and produced this project and gave us a call and said he felt I would sound good on this track with him.

“I’ve worked on numerous projects with Ritchie in the past, including the Street Gospel Riddim and the Friends & Family Riddim,” she added. “So, this collaboration felt natural and powerful.”

Lindsey said Lady Da Flame’s star power continues to rise as she adds this collaboration with the legendary Richie Stephens to her growing list of accolades.

“Recently just added to a Beres (Hammond) show, she continues to command major stages while expanding her media presence with appearances on Fox 5 DC and WHUR 96.3 FM, as well as a song feature on Power 105.1 in New York,” she said.

“Richie Stephens, widely respected for his contributions to reggae and dancehall as both a vocalist and producer, brings decades of musical excellence to the collaboration,” Lindsey added. “His signature smooth delivery paired with Lady Da Flame’s dynamic vocal strength creates a seamless blend that honors tradition while pushing the culture forward.

“Ropeen” is more than a duet — it is a celebration of musical legacy, creative synergy, and the enduring power of reggae music,” she continued.
