Roniesia Godfrey is redefining luxury tourism with All Access Guyana

Roniesia Godfrey hosted a launch event featuring some of Guyana’s top female influencers. The signature experience included a city tour of Georgetown, a sunset river cruise on the Demerara River, and a culinary showcase with Chef Dustin, who introduced Guyana-inspired sushi.

When Roniesia Godfrey returned to Guyana in 2022 for her uncle’s wedding, she did not just reconnect with her roots; she discovered a vision. Having left the country at age five and built a successful career managing corporate events for Fortune 500 firms in the United States, Godfrey saw an opportunity to reimagine how travelers experience the Caribbean.

That vision became All Access Guyana, a bespoke travel and tourism company delivering fully curated itineraries across Guyana and the wider Caribbean. Godfrey’s mission is simple: stress-free, unforgettable journeys, from private transportation and accommodations to cultural immersions and elevated dining experiences.

“When I came home, I saw how quickly the country was developing and knew I wanted to make an impact,” she says. “I want people to experience Guyana in a way that feels elevated, intentional, and rooted in local culture. We slow it down. We design moments where guests sit in conversation with locals and truly experience the culture, not just take photos.”

Her company offers experiences that go beyond typical tourism. Think helicopter tours over the Amazon rainforest, sunset cruises along the Demerara River, and fusion dining like Guyanese-inspired sushi with one of Guyana’s best chefs, Chef Dustin Dalgetty. A signature offering includes a four-hour Georgetown city and culinary tour, blending history, gastronomy, and riverfront views into one immersive adventure.

Yet launching a luxury brand in Guyana has not been without hurdles.

“There’s still resistance to women leading boldly, as a woman entrepreneur in a male-dominated space, I’ve had to claim my voice and vision with confidence,” Godfrey admits. “Building trust in a developing market is another challenge, but it’s part of the journey and I’m ready to take it on.”

Her ambitions go beyond tourism. Godfrey is passionate about empowering women and children in Guyana with the digital skills, tools, and training they need to achieve economic independence and lead in a modern world.

“Too many women remain financially dependent on men,” she said. “I want them to see they can create their success.”

Godfrey envisions All Access Guyana as the country’s premier tourism company, attracting visitors from the US, UK, Toronto, and across the diaspora. Among upcoming innovations: a partnership with AirDash to offer helicopter city tours during CPL season, paired with river excursions for a one-of-a-kind aerial and water-level perspective of Guyana’s landscapes.

“There’s no better time to experience Guyana,” she declared. “Eco-lodges, new restaurants, luxury experiences, the growth is incredible. We’re ready to show the world a side of Guyana they’ve never seen before.”
