The classy and elegant event was attended by approximately two hundred guests, who all had a fun time, reconnecting, and reminiscing. From the warm welcome in the lobby, to the ambiance of the venue, all surpassed as usual. The guests were beautifully serenaded on steel pan by Tyler Cohen during the cocktail hour, complemented with hors d’oeuvres and drinks.

Additional music was provided by the indomitable DJ Flexx, who had guests rocking until the last song was played. The evening ended with the winners of the silent auction of artwork donated by Guyanese artists, Mikael Phang and Derek Browne and the distribution of door prizes.

“Our appreciation to the co-chairs of our Fund-Raising Committee, Ingrid Thomas-Clark and Beverly deAndrade-Waaldijk who led the executive of our events for many years. It’s now time and they are passing the baton to Adunni Britton-Greene and Rock Harding,” said the alumni.

All proceeds will be used for projects at St. Rose’s approved by the board of governors and principal. The association thanked everyone who came out to support the event, and to all those who contributed financially or otherwise, to the success of the event.
