West Indies women’s captain Stafanie Taylor has signed a new two-year deal with Sydney Thunder recently. She said her objective was to notch her maiden Twenty20, century in the new Women’s Big Bash League campaign in Australia which starts this month.

The Jamaican right-hander, who also bowls off-spin, has been a key member of the Thunder squad for the last two seasons and was central to their title-winning success in the inaugural 2015 / 2016 season.

Taylor is one of the leading players in the women’s game, with over 4,0238 runs and 127 wickets in 108 ODIs and 2,474 runs and 68 wickets from 80 Twenty20 Internationals.

Taylor has managed 661 runs and 12 wickets in her first two seasons with Sydney Thunder.
