Trini players in inaugural UAE Int’l T20 League

Trinidad and Tobago off-spinner, Sunil Narine is one of four marquee players signed to the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (ADKR) for the inaugural United Arab Emirates’ International League T20 (ILT20).
Last week, the Knight Riders franchise announced the first 14 players of their squad for the competition, which is set to take place in January and February 2023.
Narine is one of the franchise’s key players and also represents the Trinidad Knight Riders and the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Joining  him are Jamaican big hitter, Andre Russell,  T&T off-spinner spinner, Akeal Hosein and fast bowler, Ravi Rampaul have also been selected.

Making the announcement, Knight Riders’ CEO Benny Moore said: “Firstly, it’s great to see our global footprint continues to grow in line with our vision and  strategy, KKR in IPL,  TKR in CPL and now ADKR in the ILT20.”
He said international and local UAE players will be added to the draft.
