In the midst of election season, veteran political consultant and communications strategist James Christopher has officially launched James Christopher Communications LLC, a public relations and political strategy firm designed to help mission-driven leaders, grow businesses, and provide a competitive edge for political campaigns and organizations across New York City, New York State and nationwide.

“This election presents a pivotal turning point for New York, and the stakes couldn’t be higher,” Christopher, founder and managing director of JCC, told Caribbean Life on Sunday, Aug. 17. “Our mission, just like our communications, transforms complex problems into compelling and simple solutions.

“We write success stories and make them a reality for visionary leaders by cutting through the noise, profoundly connecting with the public, and delivering tangible results,” he added. “We aren’t here to just manage campaigns — we aim to help shape the future of New York.”

Before launching JCC, James served as communications director for both the New York State Assembly Majority Whip’s Office and the Brooklyn Democratic Party — the largest county Democratic organization in the nation — leading communications that drove record-breaking voter engagement in State and Citywide elections.

With a career defined by shaping winning narratives and securing decisive victories, Christopher is well-versed in navigating the toughest political, business and media landscapes.

Christopher has also recently assisted with Governor Cuomo’s Mayoral Campaign with press strategy and outreach.

Before his foray into politics, Christopher led communications for a hedge fund and high-net-worth wealth management firm, where he increased AUM and wrote one of the most read blogs in the nation in Medium.com, which was syndicated in CNBC, the World Economic Forum, Forbes, and myriad more outlets.

Christopher’s political wins have earned him accolades in several of City & State NY’s coveted Power Lists.

A Queens native, James has ghostwritten five books, is a Double-Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-Doe, and now splits his time between NYC and Westchester County for his eclectic group of clients and partners in politics, legal firms, the arts, hospitality, and much more.
