Persaud, the Guyanese-born representative for the 19th Senate District in Brooklyn, said that children, ranging from toddlers to 14 years old, received toys, winter coats, hats, gloves, clothing, and other essential items, helping families prepare for the winter season while celebrating the spirit of giving.
She said the event also featured a special visit from Santa Claus, allowing families to capture memorable holiday photos.
This year’s celebration included a special celebrity appearance by Sergio Delavicci, who partnered with Persaud for the second consecutive year, continuing a shared commitment to uplifting and supporting local families during the holidays.
