The heat in New Haven, Connecticut is about to be turned up to the max, with a sizzling summer day party slated for the Long Wharf waterfront at the 4th Annual Leo’s vs Virgos – Flavors of Lemonade Edition on Sunday, Aug. 24.

Anthony “ER Guru” Turner, the New York-based, Jamaican-born entertainment publicist, told Caribbean Life on Monday that Teejay, Charly Black, and Gabbidon have been confirmed for the event, which will take place from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Canal Dock Boathouse.

“Teejay, whose viral 2023 hit Drift lit up TikTok and racked up millions of streams worldwide, is a global star,” Turner said.

“From his breakout with Braff alongside Ding Dong in 2018 to his Uptop Boss anthem in 2019 and his 2024 debut EP I Am Chippy, Teejay has cemented his place among the genre’s elite,” he added.

Turner said Black, whose global smash hit Gyal You a Party Animal has over 100 million Spotify streams.

Richi Porter, of Clean-n-Fresh, also told Caribbean Life: “We have brought together top tier performers Teejay and Charlie Black, along with Jamaican American queen Aisha Hall.”

He said Black “brings undeniable star power,” and that Gabbidon, “the dancer, who created the Drift dance will fire up the party with high-octane moves.”

Porter said the concept of Leo’s Vs Virgos came from him and his best friend, “who is a Virgo.”

“Dem swear dem ah di life of di party more than Leo,” he said. “So, we decided to keep an event to see who can roll out more.”

With its blend of top-tier performances and a crowd ready to celebrate, Turner said “Leo’s vs Virgos is set to be New Haven’s ultimate summer party.”
