A happy St. Valentine’s Day celebration to all

Despite the ongoing restrictions surrounding the coronavirus variant, omicron, the celebration of St. Valentine’s Day will see lovers in their finest red attire, as they celebrate the day of love, virtually, or in-person.

Hollis Barclay, Guyanese-American proprietor of Blue Fin Bar & Grill will present an evening of Sip & Paint on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, for both singles and couples, at her 637 Nostrand Ave., Brooklyn location from 7 pm.

In addition to music, surf & turf, and drinks, a free bottle of wine will be offered to couples, during the ‘reservation required’ event.

Bellyful Restaurant & Bar, that prepares delicious Jamaican style cooking, will host its Wine & Dine Mondays, on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. The eatery, located at 2102 Utica Ave., Brooklyn, will be open from 8 am to 5 pm.

The All-Guyana Reunion Valentine’s celebration, will take place on Saturday, Feb. 12, at the spacious Woodbine Ballroom, 2281 Church Ave. in Brooklyn — (Corner of Bedford)

The Washie & Chester – is calling on fans to “Dress to Impress” at the “Red Attire” night of entertainment, that will feature the Sounds of Super Terry, Lady Supreme, Goldstone Family, and DJ Flexx. Admission is $30.

A Valentine Cake Pop making virtual workshop will give bakers an opportunity to see their masterpiece come to life on Friday, Feb. 11 from 7 pm via a Zoom link prior to class.
