Caribbean Life’s annual Caribbean Life Impact Awards is set for Nov. 14 in Brooklyn, at the Paradise Catering Hall in Gravesend. Since the summer, our team has considered hundreds of nominations for the sixth annual awards.
Every year our publication aims to recognize the achievements and contributions of outstanding individuals of Caribbean background who have created the most impact in their respective career fields — from the arts, to advocacy, entrepreneurship, and much more. By establishing themselves in these lanes, they have helped continue opening the path for incoming immigrants and inspiring generations to come.
In accordance, we are hosting a stunning gala where we shower our honorees and their friends and family members with a special evening that includes a cocktail hour, buffet options, three-course dinner, and engraved recognition plaques for each honoree. Ruschell Boone of NY1 will serve as the master of ceremonies.
We are exceptionally grateful to these Caribbean-American individuals who have made New York City their home. They come from varied backgrounds and fields of expertise, but the recipients of the Impact Award share certain attributes — selflessness, determination and passion.
Our honorees’ stories are inspirational and they are fiercely proud of their ties to their Caribbean heritage. It is with the help of our generous sponsors including St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, Easco Corporation, Spectrum, Challenge Preparatory Charter Schools and Emigrant Bank that we are able to celebrate these deserving individuals at the event.
The affair begins at 5:30 pm with cocktail hour before dinner. Valet parking is available. Tickets are $125 per person and business attire is required. For tickets, visit www.carib
