Celebrating community champions: 14 women honored on International Women’s Day

In celebration of Women's History Month, BKLYN Commons in association with NYBeauty Suites hosted a festive soiree celebrating all things women. The evening kicked off with an awards ceremony honoring trailblazing, wellness, and beauty-preneurs who are making outstanding strides in the beauty and wellness space. Beauty & Wellness-preneurs honorees included from left – Ashley Taylor; Kerryann Bertrand; Dede Dia; Marissia Malcolm; Virhonjeale Sherdan-Matteson; Shantini Alleyne-Cooper and Niara Mullings.
