Guyanese-born reggae artist Colle’ Kharis is riding the musical wave of success with his new album, Lot 13. He said it is a deeply personal and culturally rooted collection of songs that continues to reflect his journey as an artist of Caribbean heritage.
“I am thrilled to announce the release of my new album, Lot 13,” he told Caribbean Life of the June 11 drop of the powerful follow-up to the monumental single “Caribbean Bloodline,” an unapologetic celebration of traditional roots reggae culture.
He continued that the empowering single “Caribbean Bloodline” landed just 100 days after the release of his third album, Bachelors Adventure.
With the arrival of his fourth studio album, Lot 13, Kharis solidifies his place as one of reggae’s most consistent and visionary voices and continues his meteoric rise.
“This milestone marks a bold continuation of my creative momentum, delivering not just music but a movement rooted in identity, culture, and resilience,” he said.
Kharis’ fourth studio album is available worldwide now. This latest release follows the success of his third album, Bachelors Adventure, which debuted on Jan. 15, 2025, and the empowering single “Caribbean Bloodline.” Lot 13 dropped just days after his birthday on June 11, marking a significant milestone in his ever-evolving musical journey.
He added that LOT 13 is a bold and expressive collection of music that combines personal introspection, societal awareness, love, and the rich spirit of Caribbean heritage. Through Kharis’s conscious reggae sound, this album takes listeners on a journey that spans heartfelt stories, “raw emotion, and a deep connection to the world around us.”
The cuts are “Caribbean Bloodline,” a powerful anthem of pride and unity honoring the Caribbean’s rich heritage shaped by African, Asian, European, and Indigenous roots. It also celebrates the region’s strength, resilience, and shared identity.
This song also calls on listeners to raise their flags high and embrace the collective spirit of the CARICOM family. It’s a tribute to the unbreakable bond that connects the Caribbean through history, culture, and triumph.
“Pull It UP Selector” is a high-energy tribute to reggae’s vibrant dancehall culture. It captures the essence of a lively session with skanking rhythms, blazing lighters, and iconic tunes. The selector’s role in setting the vibe is honored, and reggae’s power to uplift, unite, and heal is showcased.
Others include “Little Blue Cottage,” a romantic reggae ballad that paints a dreamy escape to a secluded hideaway by a stream. With vivid imagery of nature and intimacy, Colle ́ Kharis captures the longing for undisturbed connection and the simple joy of love in a peaceful, intimate setting.
“World on Fyah” features the powerful vocals of Finness and Adrianna Clark, in a passionate anthem for unity and resistance. Addressing global conflicts in Sudan, Congo, Palestine, Yemen, Syria, and Haiti, the song confronts oppression while inspiring listeners to come together, extinguish division, and pursue peace and justice. It is a hopeful rallying cry to transform chaos into harmony.
Other selections are “Eyes Wide Open (it’s Cold Outside),” “When DI Streets Talk,” “My Chambers,” “From Colle with Love,” “Let Dem Walk Away,” and “Eyes Wide Open” (Acoustic Version), which showcase the incredible talent of Colle Kharis.
