Comic Learie Joseph in Queens, Brooklyn

Whenever Trinidad and Tobago’s master comic, Learie Joseph, makes a New York appearance, it’s a special event. Joseph and his side-splitting skit comedy acts will be served up in two performances at venues in Queens and Brooklyn, Friday and Sunday evenings, Oct. 23 and 25.

The Friday venue is Naresa Lounge in South Ozone Park, at 116-14 Rockaway Blvd.; Sunday evening’s show will roll out at Brooklyn’s Tropical Paradise Ballroom at 1367 Utica Ave. Show time for the Queens performance is 8:30 pm; Sunday evening in Brooklyn, show time is 6:30 pm.

A veteran in the business, Joseph is this year celebrating his 36th year wowing audiences in Trinidad and Tobago and abroad. Fans have come to expect wall-to-wall humor from the slew of characters Joseph brings to life in his presentations, whether cop, schoolboy, jilted lover or any of dozens of others. Information about the performances can be obtained at 917-447-2323.
