Renowned reggae artist Kabaka Pyramid has joined forces with dancehall sensation Rygin King for a special remix of Kabaka Pyramid’s chart-topping single, “Believe.”

This collaboration is featured on the deluxe version of Kabaka Pyramid’s GRAMMY-winning album “The Kalling,” scheduled for release this Friday, April 19, coinciding with Kabaka Pyramid’s birthday.

The highly-anticipated “Believe” remix, featuring Rygin King, was released last Friday, April 12.

“The song embraces a modern reggae sound that is sure to captivate audiences worldwide,” Ronnie Tomlinson, the Jamaican-born entertainment publicist and chief executive officer of Destine Media, told Caribbean Life on Monday.

“Rygin King, known for his signature trap dancehall style shows his versatility on this track, and his ability to fuse his sound with reggae,” added the Brooklyn resident.

In the remix of “Believe,” Tomlinson said Rygin King adds his “unique flair to the track and a melodious tone, while singing the profound lyrics of the chorus many have grown to love: ‘Affi believe Inna me self, Nah wait pan nobody fi gimme motivation/Me affi mek it out de sticky situation/Affi Believe Inna me self.’”

Tomlinson said fans of both Kabaka Pyramid and Rygin King can look forward to a fresh take on the hit single “Believe,” promising a harmonious blend of reggae and dancehall influences.

“Stay tuned for the release of the ‘Believe’ remix and the deluxe version of ‘The Kalling’ album, as Kabaka Pyramid and Rygin King deliver a collaboration that is set to make waves in the music industry,” she said.

When asked what fans can expect on the deluxe version of his GRAMMY Award-winning album “The Kalling,” Kabaka Pyramid said: “We have a hip hop remix of Stand Up by Genis T from Barcelona, we have a reggaeton remix of Mr Rastaman by Maffio from Dominican Republic/Miami, and we also have a couple dub versions of Make Things Work and Mary Jane by Tippy Igrade from USVI.

“So, listeners will get an array of sounds influenced by Kabakas’s global tours and wide musical palette,” he added.
