KES ALL IN post Trinidad Carnival concert tour begins with Trinidad’s own, KES the BAND & Friends, at the Best Buy Theater NYC on Friday, March 9.
The theater is located at 1515 Broadway & West 44th Street, New York, N.Y. 10036 corner of 44th Street and 7th Avenue. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show begins at 9:00 p.m.

Kes the Band is a Caribbean Pop/Rock band from the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. Since debuting in 2005, the band has played sold out venues in the United States, Caribbean, Europe, Asia and Canada. A
chieving significant worldwide success, which has catapulted them into superstardom, Kes the Band is comprised of brothers Kees (lead vocalist & Trinidad’s reigning 2011 Groovy Soca Monarch winner), Hans (drums), Jon (lead guitar) Dieffenthaller, best friend Riad Boochoon (bass), Ricardo Rameshwar and Mario Callendar (keyboardists), and DJ Robert “Robbie Styles” Persaud.
To date the band has released five albums, Three Baldheads & a Dread, Lion, On in Five, Wotless and Stereotype, with more than a dozen single tracks which enjoyed major chart success. In the summer of 2009 the single entitled, “Stalker” garnered international attention and won the band several awards including the USA 4 Real “Most Promising Artist.”
Touted as the “the future of Soca music,” Kes the Band has become a music phenomenon on the rise throughout the world.
The band has collaborated with major industry talents such as rapper Snoop Dogg, songwriter Desmond Child (worked with Bon Jovi, Ricky Martin, Aerosmith) and producer Richard Browne and has aspirations of working with other groups like Maroon 5 (also opened for Maroon 5- Dec. 2005), No Doubt and Bruno Mars.
