Newly appointed Miss Guyana World Franchise Holder, Natasha Martindale is excited to engage the Guyanese community in her quest to bring home the coveted title as she readies the new queen, Ruqayyah Boyer to compete in Indonesia this September.
Martindale, a New York based business woman and financial analyst who is committed to the education and development of contestants in her role as franchise holder, would like to invite organization and businesses to aid in the preparation of Miss Guyana World 2014 Ruqayyah Boyer, who will need all of the assistance she could muster to represent her nation at the Miss World pageant.
A once pageant contestant herself, the executive said she prefers to be away from the spotlight and instead be a role model, to showcase the talented, smart Guyanese beauties who will vie in a local pageant. The winner will then be groomed to compete in the various categories, including a cause that is dear to heart on the world stage.
However, Martindale who just recently assumed her new post, leaving limited time to produce a pageant, selected Ruqayyah Boyer, who was a favorite in the 2013 Miss Universe pageant sponsored by businessman, Donald Trump.

The franchisee is dedicated to the long haul and will be fully involved in the pageant process, along with a management committee to ensure that Guyana, one day captures the Miss World title.
Previous franchise holder Ken Chung, was commended by the London-based Miss World Limited, for his years of service, as the organizations welcomes Miss Martindale, who plans a better program for the presentation of the contestants and eventual queen.
