New York African Restaurant Week 2015 (NYARW) kicked off May 31 with 23 different restaurants prepared to fill your waiting bellies.
The NYARW is an annual cultural event encouraging people of all ethnicities to expose themselves to the spices and tastes of Africa.
“Our mission is simply bringing people together to celebrate and share the best of African cuisine and culture,” according to the NYARW website.
Spanning across various locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan, majority of the restaurants listed will be offering a three-course prix fixe menu at a median price of $30.
