The September window of League C of the 2023-24 CONCACAF Nations League closes on Tuesday with Turks and Caicos Islands hosting Dominica in Group C action at the TCIFA National Academy in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, according to CONCACAF.

CONCACAF said on Monday that it will be the first ever meeting between the two sides and “a big one for both in the quest to earn promotion to League B.”

Turks and Caicos Islands suffered a 3-1 defeat to British Virgin Islands in their opening contest and “will be leaning on the home fans in Providenciales for inspiration,” CONCACAF said.

It said proven goalscorer Billy Forbes netted the Turks and Caicos Islands goal, giving him three goals in his last two CNL matches.

CONCACAF said Tuesday’s contest marks Dominica debut in this edition of the tournament after a third-place finish in their League C group in 2022-23.

It said Julian Wade and Briel Thomas supplied the Dominica goals in the last CNL “and will look for a return to the scoresheet.”
