Vybz Kartel, Bounty Killer, Buju Banton and Mavado to link up with ‘You Remind Me’

Vybz Kartel, Bounty Killer, Buju Banton and Mavado will link up on a groundbreaking music video, “You Remind Me,” which is set to appear on DJ Khaled’s forthcoming album, “Aalam of God.”

Jamaican born, New York-based entertainment publicist Anthony “ER Guru” Turner told Caribbean Life on Monday, June 16, that the track, which is being touted as a monumental moment for dancehall, will begin shooting in Miami, Florida this week.

Turner said that “Aalam of God” is said to include a “blockbuster lineup of global superstars, including Drake, Rihanna and Jay-Z.”

He noted that Bounty Killer is preparing for his highly anticipated concert, billed “The Return of the Warlord,” slated for Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Saturday, July 5.

“The show will see Bounty joined by fellow dancehall DJs Mavado, Masicka and Aidonia, with several surprise guest appearances expected,” Turner said.

Bounty Killer Brooklyn – Barclays Center Tickets said Bounty Killer, who was born Rodney Price, is “a titan of the dancehall scene, renowned for his distinctive voice, aggressive delivery and uncompromising stance.

“Emerging from the Kingston, Jamaica, music scene in the early 1990s, he quickly rose to prominence with a string of hit singles that showcased his raw talent and undeniable charisma,” it said. “Over the years, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, across genres, from reggae and dancehall to hip-hop and R&B, solidifying his status as a global music icon.
