The West Indies team continues its poor showing in the Test matches in the United Arab Emirates when the team slumped to a 133-run defeat in the Second Test on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2016 to concede the three-match series to Pakistan.

So far the regional team has lost the three Twenty20s, three One-Day Internationals, and two of the three Test matches on the tour.

Resuming the final day on 171 for 4 in pursuit of an improbable 456 for victory at the Sheik Zayed Stadium, the Windies team was dismissed for 322 in its second innings.

Jamaican Jermaine Blackwood missed out on a century with 95 but West Indies lost their last six wickets for 151 runs.

Man-of-the-Match, spinner Yasir Shah was again the villain for Pakistan, claiming 6 for 124 to finish with match figures of 10 for 210 — his second 10-wicket haul in his 18-Test career.

The defeat for the West Indies side followed their 56-run defeat in the historic day / night opening Test in Dubai earlier this month, which came on the heels of an embarrassing 3-0 whitewash in the preceding Twenty20 and One-Day International series.

The struggling side has now lost 10 of their last 13 Tests and is without a victory in the last three years.

Scores were Pakistan first innings: 452 and 227 for 2 declared. West Indies 224 and 322 all out in their second innings.
