WI captain features in T20 World Cup film

West Indies Twenty20 and One-Day International Captain, Kieron Pollard and Indian skipper, Virat Kholi are featured in an animated film to promote the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup tournament, which begins on the United Arab Emirates  and Oman later this month.

And Pollard, a two-time winner of the tournament, is looking forward to be part of the World Cup  experience again.

He said the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will give the team more special moments.

Composed by renowned Bollywood music director, Anit Trivedi, the animated film features young fans from all over the world immersed and engaged in Twenty20 cricket and features some of the sport’s biggest superstars.

Launched in collaboration with the ICC’s global broadcast partner Star Sports, the film premiered worldwide last week across ICC, BCCI and Star Sports’ social media handles.

The Twenty20 World Cup is the pinnacle of the shortest format of cricket and returns for the first time in five years.
