Brendon McCullum breaks Sir Vivian’s record

Brendon McCullum blasted the fastest Test century in the history of the game surpassing Sir Vivian Richard’s record of 30 years. In 1986 against England, Richards scored a century after hitting 56 balls. McCullum scored his century in 54 balls at Christ Church, New Zealand against Australia.

McCullum got two chances on 32 and 39 and he then raced away scoring 82 runs off 48 balls and gaining his century in another 6 balls. New Zealand were all out for 370 runs with McCullum scoring 145 runs from 79 balls.
