West Indies Cricketers Must Be More Committed

It is evident that the six games that the West Indies have played in the ICC 2015 World Cup, some players were not playing to their full potential. To be representing the West Indies should be an honor and looking at the other teams that World Cup passion was evident. Why was Dwayne Smith allowed to start the West Indies innings after so many failures? Lendl Simmons and Denesh Ramdin are capable of openers and some change had to be made after so many failures by Dwayne Smith.

Chris Gayle for some reason lost focus and failed to stay at the wicket for a long duration. Head Coach Stuart Williams have to remind these players that they are participating in an international event. Kemar Roach was a disappointment. He has not delivered in this World Cup. Jerome Taylor and Captain Jason Holder did their best to to utilize the conditions available. It took the selectors, which include Clive Lloyd to acknowledge that Sulieman Benn should never have been chosen for this World Cup. Narsingh Deonarine from Guyana would have been a good all round choice. Sunil Narine was surely missed at this World Cup.
