Guyanese artist Carl F. Anderson to showcase two-dimensional artwork Nov. 29 – Dec. 22

The art works of preeminent Guyanese-born artist, Carl F. Anderson that expresses a two-dimensional surface image, and portray a complex universe, will grace the prestigious David Richard Gallery, Chelsea location 526 West 26th St., Suite 9E, New York, from Nov. 29 – Dec. 22.

The Eye of the Storm- Circulos Vibrate exhibition- described by the award-winning artist, as blending color, life and the female form into a unifying theme of the cosmic, will feature, pieces titled – Agujero negro de luz, La Teta, Crecimiento, and Urbanizacion la Pina, among others, all Acrylic and thread on canvas over wood support in a 37 x 37 inches framework. The exhibition will give art lovers a genius prospective of the brilliant artist, whose prize-winning paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries across Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the USA.

A participant in the 8th Beijing Biennial in China in 2019, Anderson’s exhibitions have graced venues including Cairo’s National Museum of Modern Art, Guyana’s National Art Gallery, the Malta International Art Biennial, and the Inter-American Development Bank Cultural Center Gallery in Washington DC.

Anderson’s work proceeds along two tracks. He is recognized within the international art community for his technically skilled and conceptually inventive abstract paintings. But his excellent hyperrealist portraits are also in great demand wherever he goes.

The painter and sculptor created history when his collection was exhibited at the Port Authority, Times Square, NY. Anderson who was also among a group of Caribbean painters and sculptors featured at the return of Harlem Art Stroll – “The Caribbean & Diaspora Art” exhibition, expects to attract a wide cross-section of the art world to view, yet another of his exceptional presentations.
