Middle order batsman Shimron Hetmyer is among three players recalled to the West Indies One-Day International (ODI) squad for their upcoming series against Australia.
The squad features most of the players from the 3-0 clean sweep over Sri Lanka in the CG Insurance ODI series earlier this year.
Left-hander Hetmyer, who made his return to T20 action for the West Indies against South Africa after missing white-ball series against Sri Lanka, has been brought back along with all-rounder Roston Chase and fast bowler, Sheldon Cottrell.
The the three-match CG Insurance ODI series forms part of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) ODI Super League where both teams are aiming to win points to be one of the top seven teams that will secure automatic qualification for the 2023 ICC World Cup in India.
