West Indies top Twenty20 batsman Evin Lewis has slipped down two points from number five to number seven, but still remains the highest ranked West Indian batsman in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) player rankings.

He is the only West Indies player in the top 20, having accumulated 753 points.

Lewis is only eight points behind Australian Glenn Maxwell who has dropped three spots to sixth.

Maxwell’s teammate Aron Finch sits at the top rankings to break the 900-point mark.

The West Indies team has two players among the top 20 bowlers, with spinning duo of Samuel Badree, who holds the number five ranking with 674 points. The other spinner, Sunil Narine has slipped one place to be ranked 18th on 587 points.

The team is still the seventh-ranked on 114 points, the same as sixth-placed South Africa.

West Indies’ Evin Lewis plays a shot for six off the bowling of England’s Moeen Ali during the One Day International cricket match between England and the West Indies at the Oval cricket ground in London, Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017.
