Three members of the unbeaten Trinidad and Tobago Knight Riders (TKR) were selected to play on the 2020 Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) All-Stars team, which was announced last week.

First-time finalist, the St Lucia Zouks — who were defeated by the TKR — had only one member selected for the tournament’s X1. Selections were made by the commentary team of Tom Moody, Ian Bishop, Darren Ganga, Danny Morrison and Samuel Badree.

TKT captain Kieron Pollard was appointed leader. In addition, three members of the Amazon Warriors squad, two players from the Jamaica Tallawahs, one player each from St. Kitts, Nevis Patriots and the 2019 champions Barbados Tridents were selected for the team.

“After health discussion and debate the commentators have finalized what they believe is a power-packed all-star X1 from Hero CPL 2020,” Tom Moody, CPL’s director of International Cricket, said. “With a tournament dominated by world-class spin there was an abundant of riches, Imran Khan proved a challenge to all who came his way. Kieron Pollard’s all-round skills again brought some eye-catching performances, it was an easy decision to make him the captain after a flawless league stage.”
