Allrounder Roston Chase topped the batting averages and was most economical with the ball for the St. Lucia Kings at the recently concluded 2021 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) in St. Kitts and Nevis.
The 2021 Most Valuable Player (MVP) scored 446 runs at 49.55 and captured 10 wickets with an economy rate of 6.92.
Chase’s contributions proved key as he earned his maiden West Indies Twenty20 International call-up for the 2021 ICC World Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman next month.
The Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) were unable to reach the heights of 2020 when they won all of their 12 matches.
