T&T women ready for CWI Super 50, T20 Blaze

Trinidad and Tobago women cricketers are ready for Cricket West Indies Women’s CG Insurance (CWI) Super50 and T20 Blaze tournaments which will be bowled at three venues — Everest Cricket Club and the Guyana National Stadium in Providence from June 7 to 17 while the T20 Blaze event will run from June 19 to 25 at the Guyana National Stadium with three matches per day starting at 10 a.m., 2.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.
T&T will open their 50-over campaign against Jamaica at Enmore Cricket Club this week before tackling the host later this week at Everest Cricket Club.
T&T Coach Kevin Williams said his team is confident they will do the country proud.
Speaking with reporters before leaving for Guyana on Sunday, Williams said he was pleased with the team’s preparations and that his team will be ready as women regional cricket return.
Anisa Mohammed will captain the team.
