West Indies Captain, Jason Holder said aggression displayed in the seven-wicket victory over Pakistan in its opening match last Friday in the ICC World Cup in Nottingham, England was a blue print of the type of cricket the regional team hoped to produce going forward in the tournament.

Bowling with pace and hostility, the West Indies needed less than two hours to crush Pakistan for 105 off 21.4 overs, and then raced to their target in the 14th over with veteran opener Chris Gayle hitting a 33-ball 50.

Rookie fast bowler, Oshane Thomas reveled in overcast conditions, roughing up the Pakistani batsmen to end with four for 27 while Holder picked up two wickets.

Andre Russell was sensational taking two for four to initiate the batting collapse.
