West Indies Women will tour England next year for a six limited overs series at several major country avenues.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced the itinerary for the much anticipated English tour, which will run from June 6-25.

The two teams will play three Twenty20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs), the latter of which will form part of the ICC Women’s Championship — the qualification criteria for the 2021, 50-over World Cup tournament.

They are the only three West Indies players in the top 50 of the batting charts.

In the bowling rankings, fast bowler Shannon Gabriel inched one place to 11th, following his five-wicket haul.

The Windies last toured England for a bilateral series 11 years ago when the now-retired Nadine George captained the team which included the teenaged pair of Stafanie Taylor and Deandra Dottin.

West Indies beat England in the final group stage match in the recent Twenty20 World Cup before losing their semi-final to Australia in Antigua, to bow out from the tournament.

The English women, however, recovered from that defeat to reach the final of the tournament, which they lost to Australia.
