Producer and DJ Dymond, one of the hottest talents coming out of Jamaica, dropped his latest project Dinero Riddim through 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution, under the label Full Chaarge Records. The compilation mix was released worldwide online and features some of the biggest names on the global dancehall scene right now. With more than a dozen tracks with notable names in the genre, including songs from Tommy Lee Sparta and I-Octane, the hype is living up to the promise.
DJ Dymond is recognized for his work for the production of “Ghetto Bible” at the 21st Hapilos Digital Music Awards’ People’s Choice ceremony in 2016. He received a best-selling and streaming dancehall rhythm award for the staging of it, which has made the partnership with the company on Dinero Riddim a good fit. As a reggae and dancehall producer since 2011, he has worked with Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Alkaline, and Konshens, among others.
Dymond rose to success as a radio disc jockey and presenter at Zip 103fm Kingston, Jamaica, and through his role there transitioned into production, which yielded the ZJ demarcation.
In time he became CEO of Full Chaarge Records and received his first taste of success with the release of the award-winning “Promiscuous” rhythm with Gage’s “Kitty Kat” and Vybz Kartel’s “Pretty Position” drawing the most attention. He is gaining traction internationally performing regularly live in New York, elsewhere on the east coast, and the Caribbean.
