Tribeca Pediatrics will present its very first Resource & Community Baby Shower on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m., taking place at East New York office at 682 Sutter Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11207, alongside community partners from the Boober platform, Little Essentials, Expecting Relief, Soulwork Yoga Studio, HealthyStart BK, and more!
The public is invited to join and celebrate, meet the doctor, tour the office, gain wellness and perinatal education and resources, and discover why Tribeca Pediatrics is New York’s #1 pediatric practice.
In addition, Tribeca Pediatrics is partnering with Expecting Relief, a local East New York diaper pantry, that will help supply free diapers for new and expectant families at their newborn visits. As a practice, Tribeca Pediatrics is supported and always understood the importance of organizations such as Little Essentials and now Expecting Relief, who support families in need, by supplying essential items in order to provide for children to have the most optimal health and wellness outcomes. “We’re looking forward to the success of this new program launching this month,” said a company statement.

In East New York, the office is located at 682 Sutter Ave. between Vermont Avenue and New Jersey Street. Dr. Wendy Johnson, an ENY resident and esteemed pediatrician with Tribeca Pediatrics, is very proud to head care in the community. She previously worked at our Williamsburg office and currently works in Brownsville once a week.
“I think a combination of things helped to shape my interest in pediatrics. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my dad at his dental practice. I also babysat and worked as a camp counselor. I can’t remember exactly when I realized it, but eventually I realized the importance of childhood. Pediatrics just felt like a natural choice for me,” said Dr. Johnson.
Additionally, Tayo Adjapon-Yamoah, PNP, from Ghanaian native, is the secondary provider in East New York who states “So much keeps me motivated and striving for excellence: The love in my life from my loved ones, my passion for justice, and simple things like laughing and connecting with others.”
The Brownsville office is located on 1700 Pitkin Ave. between Rockaway and Thatford Avenue. Dr. Hope Williams, head provider brings ease and comfort to many families in the neighborhood. She previously worked at the East Williamsburg location and looks forward to “developing long-term relationships with patients and partnering with families to help improve the overall well-being of children.”
In the Weeksville/Ocean Hill office located at 239 Utica Ave. in the heart of one Brooklyn’s favorite Caribbean enclaves, Dr. Jamal Harris heads care in the community. A local father and Harvard graduate, Dr. Harris shares that supporting families and maintaining their health is what keeps him motivated.
