Since the announcement of Givenchy and Alkaline’s Spring-Summer 2023 global campaign, fans of the artiste and renowned fashion house have been busy acquiring the iconic signature pieces on www.Givenchy.com.

“With some of the iconic pieces already sold-out and awaiting to be restocked, Alkaline has been actively releasing a slew of new music ahead of his usual busy summer and fall schedule,” said Jamaican entertainment publicist Rickardo Shuzzr, of media@shuzzr.com.

Shuzzr said that, over the past two months, Alkaline has released the singles “Motivation,” “Boss,” “Mad Luv” and “Grip,” “accumulating millions of views across streaming platforms.”

“Two of the latest tracks, ‘Motivation’ and ‘Boss’, produced by Autobamb and Sart Out Records, continue to solidify his meteoric rise and place at the genre’s helm,” Shuzzr said. “Sticking to his iconic rifts, creative flow and comedic persona, Alkaline lays bare his artistry as he masterfully narrates moments in his decade-spanning career while motivating his audience.”

Kereena Beckford, Alkaline’s manager, said the team is looking forward to upcoming tours, specifically in the Caribbean.

“So much is happening, and we can’t wait to share it with the fans,” she said. “It will be a Givenchy kind of summer. So, look out and purchase while stocks last. The focus is always attaining, achieving and prevailing; it’s a new wave.”

Shuzzr said “Motivation” has garnered about 350,000 views on the artiste’s YouTube page, with over two million subscribers, and is steadily gaining traction in several markets.

“As the artiste continues to unleash this new wave of music and energy, Alkaline will jet off to Barbados for one of the island’s biggest festivals, Reggae on the Hill,” he said.

The island’s yearly event, postponed due to the global pandemic, will return on April 28-30, 2023, at the Farley Hill National Park, dubbed an eventful weekend of celebrations, Shuzzr said, adding that the artiste will close out the weekend celebrations on April 30, 2023.

Shuzzr said Alkaline will also be in Guyana on May 27, 2023, for Genesis Independence Weekend.

“The weekend celebration will see the artiste headlining a mega dancehall concert titled ‘Baderation,’” he said. “Right in time to kick off summer 2023 officially, Alkaline will be in Antigua for Chattabox Festival.

“The festival, which will be held on June 17, 2023, will see the artiste performing at the inaugural event,” Shuzzr added. “Chattabox is widely known for its traveling J’ouvert brand, with past executions to much fanfare.”

“Motivation” will be available for streaming on all platforms on April 24, 2023 at https://lnk.to/MotivationAlka
